Supply List:

  • Ornaments from the Shop @ Heifer (you will need one ornament per place setting)
  • 1 package of 16 gauge soft wire
  • 1 package of 20 gauge wire
  • Place card template
  • Cardstock
  • Scissors

Instructions:

Use the attached template to create your personalized place cards. Next, print the template and cut out each card. Cut 8” pieces of the 20 gauge wire, you will need one piece per place setting. Cut 8” pieces of the 16 gauge wire, you will need one piece per place setting.

Take the 20 gauge wire and make a small loop at the end, about 1/2”. Next, take the other end of the wire and curl it to create a tight circle. You can find an object with the size of circle that you would like and wrap the wire around it.

Then, hook the 1/2” loop of wire through the loop at the top of your ornament and press the loop on the wire closed. Now take the 16 gauge wire and wrap it around the base of your ornament loop and the 20 gauge wire. This will hold your 20 gauge wire upright.

Finally, you can place your place card in the circle loop at the top of the 20 gauge wire.

Supply List:

  • Candles
  • 1 package of glitter
  • Animal template
  • Cardstock
  • Exacto Knife
  • Tape
  • Glue
  • Paintbrush (2)

Instructions:

Copy the animal template onto a piece of cardstock. Use an exacto knife to cut out each animal. Tape the cut template onto the candle.

Get a plate or box top and pour some of your glitter onto it. You wont’ need much.

Use a paintbrush to brush the glue onto the candle inside the template. Be careful to not use too much glue near the edge of the template. Remove the cardstock template.

Roll the candle in the glitter with very light pressure. Make sure you only roll the candle where the glue is placed. This will help avoid extra glitter on the candle.

Use your second paintbrush to carefully brush off the extra glitter.

Let dry.
