LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Nov. 28, 2012) Heifer International has moved onto the 2012 Forbes Largest 100 Charities list. Heifer International was listed at number 98 on this years list, up from the Top 200 last year.
In recent years, Heifer International has increased the scale of its projects to help more families move from poverty to prosperity. The organization continues to forge partnerships with development organizations like the Gates Foundation and USAID along with corporate partnerships with Green Mountain Coffee and Danone (Dannon), with the focused mission of ending hunger and poverty while practicing environmentally sound agricultural practices.
